Farming for the Future with Dairy Women's Network

Equipped with gumboots and 3 UBCO 2x2's, we attended the on-farm Dairy Women's Network event, Farming for the Future, in Matamata last month! The Dairy Women's Network (DWN) is a community of women in dairy, where empowerment and education are key. They hold a series of different workshops across the country for their members, which are often open to the public also. The 'Farming for the Future' event was hosted by Tracy and Wynn Brown of Tiroroa Farm, in Matamata. The event included talks from Ballance Agri-nutrients, Dung Beetle Innovations, Dairy NZ, and Fonterra. These were followed by demo rides on the 2x2 and an interesting talk from Tracy and Wynn about their farm, including a tour! Thanks to the DWN for organising the event and Tracy and Wynn for hosting!
